LNER Class C15, 4-4-2 Passenger Tank | |||||||||||||
PROTOTYPE. 30 of these locomotives were built for the North British Railway by the Yorkshire Engine Co between 1911 & 1913. They remained practically unchanged throughout their lives and the whole class was taken over by BR. They were employed working branchline and secondary stopping passenger trains. KIT. The body is mainly brass with a nickel silver chassis. A nice level of detail including cab interior is provided. A rear radial truck and adjustable side play on the front bogie allow this long loco to get around reasonably tight curves. |
